Seattle’s finest Nurses

When I first graduated from nursing school, I had one of the greatest pleasures of my life working on a children’s cancer floor at a fantastic children’s hospital.  Pediatric cancer nurses are a rare breed and coming from someone who is a bit off center, they are one wacky group!  How else could you go to work every day and inspire children and families who are dealing with such horror, pain and fear and turn it into laughter and joy. That’s what these nurses do.

Here is a group of them rocking out to Kelly Clarkson’s, Stronger, with their patients in Seattle’s Children’s Hospital.  Look at the joy on the kids’ faces and the relief in the parents’ eyes that their child is having fun.  Sheer beauty, plus they absolutely KICKED IT!!! ~  Nurse Mommy

  1. Alright, I just got my make-up on and it’s running down my face after watching this video. I worked in a children’s hospital and they are very special places. You are right, it means so much to the patients and families to get a much needed break by taking part in something happy and positive in the unit.

  2. It’s so wonderful that there are people in the world with the humor and strength to bring joy to other’s lives, especially when they are enduring such trials.

  3. Oh my GOD, thanks for an amazing smiling, laughing, cry this morning.

What an incredible video! Thanks SO much for sharing. I’m planning to send the world to your blog so they can see this too!
