Your Kid Can’t Poop? Answers Here!

Mommy Wednesdays:

It seems as if every child goes through a stage when the poop just won’t come out.  CONSTIPATION!!! The dreaded “C” word.  Men and women often have differing opinions on how often a child needs to have a bowel movement.  It amazes me how many men freak out if their kids don’t poop daily; and how there are families across this country who are regularly arguing over their children’s’ bowel patterns more than disciplining disagreements.  Some serious stuff…

Since so many families are in need of a good BM talk, I thought these articles would be a nice thing for you to print out and “bring to the dinner table” (not literally) to discuss with your spouse to end the age old argument of how to get your kid to poop and how often is appropriate.  Always, when in doubt, contact your child’s primary care medical provider for questions and appropriate advice for your child.
